WDE 103009 - A fungus among us and fluttering hummingbrid

Loved the fungus, took a nearby piece of orchid card stock because I saw purple tones in the bark and grass. It's pastel aprox. 8 x 11". Thought it needed something more and added the logical choice, the hummingbird. This will be Mom's 89th birthday card tomorrow...C&C welcome. The hardest part was getting enough value into the fungus, and more might still be welcome.
Bird's fluttering wings don't show online, but they are fluttering away...
Paula

I really like the hummingbird added to the picture. Looks like he is thinking of taking a bath.
Happy Birthday to your mom. Enjoy her. My mom was 89 when she passed away and has been gone for 21 years which seems almost impossible. Thanks for doing this and adding to the week of fun for me.

Great idea for a card and one she will love to get. Hope it is a good day for her. I too liked the fungus among us,, but didn't use it. I like the moving wings much better than the still ref.

A good idea to let the hummingbird fly to the fungus bath
Like your cheerful color choice, as well.
