Prismacolor Colored Pencils:
These colored pencils have thick, soft leads made from brilliant, light-resistant pigments. The colors are easily to blend, slow to wear and waterproof. Each round wooden pencil is lacquered to match the core.

Reviewer's Comments:
Summary: prismacolor pencils

I use prismacolor pencils to color stamp images. To blend I use oderless mineral spirits. I have tried many other types of waxed pencils such as this and I find the prismacolor to have the most vibrant colors when used this way.
You do need to be careful that they don't drop or the leads may break inside..but I have only had this problem with a few pencils.
