Prismacolor Colored Pencils:
These colored pencils have thick, soft leads made from brilliant, light-resistant pigments. The colors are easily to blend, slow to wear and waterproof. Each round wooden pencil is lacquered to match the core.

Summary: Could have been no 1

If the built quailty of this brand wasn't so lousy then this would be my no 1 choice. The pencils are just wonderful to work with, very soft and blendable.

But the quility of the pencils.....no other brand breaks so much as Prismacolor. I think the value for the money is poor because if you are unlucky you might have lost almost the entire pencil the first time you sharpen it.
