| To give the pupil more life and luminosity, and bring up the colour saturation level, more grass green seems to be in order. Working outwards again, I turn my attention to the outline of the eye, and as before, lay down the base colours, in preparation for subsequent layers.

| We're almost done! Just the details left. A closer look at the reference will reveal brown markings at both corners of the eye, and these are put in with the dark brown, in spots and short streaks (with some spacing in between). Also note that the blue at the inner corner has been darkened slightly with deco blue. | ![]() |
![]() | Then, just to cap it off, I added a few strokes of sienna and dark brown for surrounding fur and blended these with white, using strokes in the same direction, to get light and dark tones on the hairs.
