This detailed view (below) shows you just how thin the paint really is, you can clearly see the canvas through the paint in most places.

I am not too concerned about correctness of colour here, but more about getting a solid structure built, I can paint more accurate colours on top later when this stage has dried.
Stage 4.

I continue to paint over the whole canvas, just as I did with the face in the last stage. I painted in the dark area on the left so that I could paint the shoulder fur over it.
