| Anytime you need more inspiration, and you don't quite know what you are looking for, you can always browse the library by category. Simply scrolling down the main page (underneath where the Member's Contributions category is) will reveal all current main categories in the library. Within each category, you may find several sub-categories as well. For example, the main category "Landscapes" has 19 sub-categories, including such subjects as flowers, oceans, mountains, farms, trees, rivers and waterfalls. Note at the top where it says "Home-->General Reference Photos-->Landscapes". You can click on any of those links to take you back to that category of photos. |

| If you'd like to contribute to the library, here are step by step instructions for sharing your photographs in the library:
Enter the library. Over on the upper right hand side of the page is the link "Upload Photos" that you need to click on to continue the upload. |

| This is the screen that will come up. It is of utmost importance that you fill out all items on this screen. Doing so will keep the library organized, and allow others to find the exact reference photograph that they need. |

| First, select a category. If it's a still life, put it under still life. If it's fruit/veggies on a vine, you can put it under Landscapes: Plants or put it in the Food, Fruits, Vegetables category. If you can't figure out where to put it, send me a private message or an email and we'll figure it out together, or add the category if the need warrants it.
Next, click on the Browse button. It will bring up your computer and the files on it, pick out which file you want to upload. Next, enter the title of the photo. Then, enter your keywords to describe your photo. For example, a pineapple should at least be: pineapple fruit tropical yellow plant . Up to 10 words can be used. It is critical that this section be filled in as much as possible, it enables the library's "search" function to work properly. If the word "pineapple" is entered into the search function, that photo will come up as long as the keywords have been entered. Next, enter a brief photo description. Then choose whether or not you want to be notified if someone makes a comment on one of your photos. Finally, click on "Submit". If uploaded sucessfully, your photo will appear on the next page! |
