TIP: One of our easels had one leg submersed under the water. Not good. The wood absorbed the moisture, and was a bear to fold up. I may try sealing the legs with water sealant, to see if that helps in future situations like this. |

It sounded good in theory, at least. I wanted to have an interesting color working as an undertone. |

Tom is currently exploring the benefits (and drawbacks) of using painting knives rather than brushes. He worked almost solely with the knife on this trip. | ![]() |
